Responsibilities

• Make a memorable first and last impression.
• Greet incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner. Seat guests in dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinate the wait and seat Guests with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor and engage in genuine conversations with Guests.
• Have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu, and be able to recommend and upsell products.
• Answer the phone promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed.
• Assist throughout the restaurant, including bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and helping guests. Teamwork is essential.
• Lead the lobby experience following Outback hospitality standards.
• Adhere to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards during the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs.; work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for extended periods.
• For California positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certification required (can be obtained during training or within 60 days of start).
