Job description

HOST/SERVER ASSISTANT

Compensation: $19.29 per hour; tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile.
• Greets incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner and seats them in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinates wait times and seats guests with a sense of urgency.
• Always smiles and has genuine conversations with guests.
• Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
• Maintains commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation standards.
• Busses tables, delivers food, and supports the dining room, ensuring every opportunity to WOW guests is fulfilled.
• Has general knowledge of the food and drink menu and is able to recommend and upsell products.
• Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls.
• Leads the lobby experience for each guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
• Assists guests and supports servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.
