Out West Restaurant Group in California is looking for dedicated team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience. In this role, you will greet guests, ensure smooth service, and support the restaurant operations while upholding our hospitality standards.

This position offers an hourly rate of $16.90 plus tips, with comprehensive health insurance, paid sick leave, and various growth opportunities available. You must meet California's requirements for Responsible Beverage Service certifications.

Qualificações

Job Description

$16.90-$16.90 Plus Tips. This is an Hourly and Non-Exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile.
• Greets incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner, seats guests in the dining and bar areas, and ensures a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinates wait and seats guests with a sense of urgency.
• Always smiles and has genuine conversations with guests.
• Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
• Commits to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
• Busses tables, delivers food and supports the dining room, and ensures every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled.
• Has a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and is able to recommend and upsell products.
• Answers the phone promptly and professionally and directs calls.
• Leads the lobby experience for each guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
• Assists guests and supports Servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping.
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
• Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• For all California based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
