Job summary

The Yardley Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking an experienced host/hostess for a part-time role in a high-volume, fine‑dining environment. The position requires weekday/weekend/holiday availability and a strong guest‑service focus.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations, guiding guests to tables, coordinating with servers, and ensuring timely seating and accurate wait information. Join a team committed to exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have experience in host/hostess in fine dining or high-volume settings.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating flow.

• Estimate wait times for guests and review guest waiting list.
• While guests are waiting, make sure they are made comfortable and kept informed of the status of their orders or wait times.

• When a table is available, host/hostess escorts the guests to the dining room.
• Once seated, host/hostess ensures to fill the drink order and give the information to the responsible food server.

The Yardley Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is a high volume and fine dining restaurant seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Host/Hostess position. This is a Part-Time position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
