Job summary

Continental Services is seeking a Host/Hostess for the Ford House location on a part-time basis during the day shift. The role involves welcoming guests, seating them, and coordinating with servers and attendants to ensure a seamless dining experience.

You will be expected to complete the training program for the Host position, maintain a clean dining area, and support management with operational needs. Prior host/hostess experience is a plus, and availability must align with The Continental and

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct and seat guests at tables.
• Take, place, package and provide to-go orders to guests.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and order of The Continental dining room.
• Complete the training program for the Host position.
• Support the servers and The Speedster attendants with food and beverage service.
• Work in tandem with the management team to successfully operate The Continental.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of both Continental Services and Ford House.
• Complete any tasks assigned by the management staff.

Description

The Host/Hostess, typically the first person a guest meets at The Continental, sets the atmosphere for the dining experience. Along with taking reservations, to-go orders and seating the host/hostess assists fellow employees and management in providing an exceptional experience to all those who visit Ford House.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

• Work in tandem with the management team to successful operate The Continental.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of both Continental Services and Ford House.
• Complete the training program for the Host position.
• Support the servers and The Speedster attendants with food and beverage service.
