Job summary

Rancho Santa Fe Association is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet Members and guests in the clubhouse dining room, creating a warm, refined first impression and guiding guests from arrival to departure.

The role requires hosting experience, a polished demeanor, and excellent verbal communication. Availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with pay rate of $16.90 per hour and PT status.

Qualifications

• Prior hosting, front desk, or guest services experience in fine dining or hospitality.
• Polished, professional demeanor and excellent verbal communication.
• Familiarity with reservation and POS systems preferred.
• Discreet, detail-oriented and able to remember member names and preferences.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Full availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Host/Hostess is responsible for serving as the first and last point of contact for Members and their guests in the clubhouse dining room, setting the tone for a warm, refined experience from arrival through departure.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior hosting, front desk, or guest services experience in a fine dining or hospitality setting preferred
• Polished, professional demeanor and excellent verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with reservation and point-of-sale systems preferred
• Discreet, detail-oriented, and able to remember Member names and preferences
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Full availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

PAY RATE: $16.90
