Job summary

Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to greet guests and seat them in the dining areas, and to coordinate reservations within the Hogan Grill. This is a year-round, part-time role with work on days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests according to requests and server rotation.
• Open/close procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges.
• Coordinate reservations and seating charts.

Join the team at Hershey Country Club, a private, premier golf and recreation club. The club’s rich history of accolades, success, and chocolate combine to form a one-of-a-kind experience for individuals and families of all ages, and features 45 holes of golf on the championship East & West courses.

This position is responsible for greeting guests, seating guests, and coordinating reservations within the dining room areas of Hogan Grill. This is a part-time year-round position. The working schedule for this position may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Greeting guests upon arrival and seating guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation.*
• Completing opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges.*
• Coordinating reservations and seating charts.*
• Answering telephones.*
• Overseeing service, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality.*
• Responding to member questions, requests and concerns. *
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Demands

• Physical requirements include standing (up to 100% of shift), walking, bending, stooping, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity.
• The ability to communicate effectively in a loud environment.
• Ability to work a flexible eight-hour shift according to operational needs, including weekends and holidays
• The schedule will rotate to cover hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
