Job summary

Paradies Lagardère in Boston seeks a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, seat parties, and support servers in a fast-paced venue. You will ensure smooth guest flow and accurate wait times while upholding our TRIFIC values.

  transaction accurately.
• Maintain store appearance with respect to merchandising and maintaince standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws.
• Responds appropriately to customer concerns.
• Ensures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked host stand.
• Assist servers and food runners, as needed. Must be able to maneuver heavy trays of food.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Food and Beverage experience in a full service setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
• Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with
  customers and peers.
  POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.
• Strong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics, in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing
  on a ladder, and walking long distances.
• Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
