Terre Haute Casino Resort is seeking a Host/Hostess for the Altitude Lounge to manage reservations, greet guests and seat them in a friendly, professional manner. The role requires knowledge of the restaurant layout and menus, and involves maintaining a positive demeanor in a busy dining room.

Responsibilities include seating guests, coordinating with management on guest feedback, and supporting the restaurant as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals and menus.
• Basic computer skills; can learn reservation system, phone system and iPad to log reservations.

Responsibilities

• Seat patrons according to seating diagram for assigned outlet.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items for each outlet.
• Communicate guest compliments or complaints to management in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with excellent communication in a busy dining room.
• Assist in the restaurant as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
• Work nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
