Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is seeking an upbeat Host to greet and seat restaurant guests, coordinate staff assignments and maintain a smooth flow of service in a high-energy, 24-hour dining environment.

You will answer phones, monitor availability, and support wait/bar colleagues to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and availability across day, swing, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have an upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude.
• Must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner.
• Must be available to work all shifts including day, swing, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in a loud, high-energy environment.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a loud, high-energy 24-hour work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting / welcoming and seating guests.
• Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurant.
• Assisting wait/bar staff.
• Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
• Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
