Job summary

Guy's Kitchen & Bar in Branson, Missouri is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to greet guests, seat them, and assist with service and bussing. You will use the POS system, handle transactions, and help with daily line-ups while maintaining a fast-paced, guest-focused atmosphere.

Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required. No formal education prerequisites; a friendly demeanor and professional appearance are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Checks with Manager for daily forecast training standard objectives.
• Ascertains the daily specials from kitchen and communicates them.
• Inspects dining room for cleanliness, proper supply levels and proper staffing.
• Greet guests with a smile and deliver the welcomed message as trained by manager.
• Seat guests using systems in place, bringing proper menus and communicate to servers/bussers.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes.
• Performs service, busser and runner duties as appropriate.
• Uses POS accurately. Handles cash and credit card transactions as directed.
• Participate in upsell strategies as directed by management.
• Participates in daily line ups.
• Practices service standards and current training throughout service.
• Team Member may be required to perform other duties

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work experience in a restaurant or retail, preferred not required
• Understands restaurant and customer etiquette
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Enjoy interacting with families and children
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information.
• Must display being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, and dedicated.
• Must have professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
