Downtown Flavortown is seeking a friendly host to greet guests, guide them to their tables, and help create a memorable dining experience. You’ll work as part of a lively team in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on hospitality, cleanliness, and accurate seating.

This position offers flexibility with shifts, prior restaurant or retail experience preferred, and weekly pay. Benefits for part-time team members include health-related options, employee discounts, and opportunities for growth.

Working as a host at Guy Fieris Downtown Flavortown is an absolute blast! Greeting guests with a warm smile and guiding them to their tables sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The lively atmosphere, infused with the aroma of delicious dishes, creates an ambiance that's both inviting and exciting. Interacting with patrons and witnessing their anticipation as they await their meals is incredibly gratifying. Duties & Responsibilities:

• - Checks with Manager for daily forecast training standard objectives.
• - Ascertains the daily specials from kitchen and communicates them.
• - Inspects dining room for cleanliness, proper supply levels and proper staffing.
• - Greet guests with a smile and deliver the welcomed message as trained by manager.
• - Seat guests using systems in place, bringing proper menus and communicate to servers/bussers.
• - Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes.
• - Performs service, busser and runner duties as appropriate.
• - Uses POS accurately. Handles cash and credit card transactions as directed.
• - Participate in upsell strategies as directed by management.
• - Participates in daily line ups.
• - Practices service standards and current training throughout service.
• - Team Member may be required to perform other duties
• - Have fun!

Requirements:

• - Flexibility to work varied shifts to include days and nights, weekends and holidays
• - Work experience in a restaurant or retail, preferred not required
• - Understands restaurant etiquette
• - Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• - Demonstrated customer service skills
• - Enjoy interacting with families and children
• - Ability to work in fast paced environment
• - Ability to stand for long periods of time
• - Enjoy having fun!
• - Must be at least 18 years old
• - Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred.
• - Must pass a pre-employment background check
• - Able to be genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in their work.
• - Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
• - Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis.
• - Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information.
