Job summary

Iron Works, part of Newport Restaurant Group, seeks a Host in Warwick, RI to coordinate seating and ensure fast, courteous service. You will greet guests, guide them to tables, and relay guest needs to staff.

The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and thrives in a fast-paced team setting, with flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Training is available for OpenTable experience.

Iron Works is looking for a Host to join the team.

More gastropub than classic tavern, Iron Works serves innovative and updated takes on American classics, all from a building deeply steeped in the historical fabric of Warwick. About the Position: In the Host role, you will coordinate seating of guests to provide fast and courteous service.

About You: You are friendly, outgoing, and driven to succeed. You have a strong passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.

• Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners
• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus
• Communicates guests’ needs to service staff and management.

Qualifications:

• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
• Restaurant and OpenTable experience are preferred however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
