Host Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and graciously upon arrival.
• Open the door for guests when possible.
• Record guest names and party sizes when seating is limited.
• Provide estimated wait times and call out names when tables are ready.
• Seat guests based on preferences and flow considerations.
• Offer menus and introduce servers upon seating.
• Relay messages to staff as needed.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Maintain a clean and organized host station.
• Ensure the entrance and bathrooms are clean and stocked.
• Use POS systems and scheduling apps as instructed.
• Review management messages before each shift.
