Job summary

Turning Point Restaurants is seeking friendly and energetic hosts for daytime service in our NJ locations. Join a fast-paced team that greets guests, seats them, and ensures a welcoming dining experience across breakfast, brunch, and lunch shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary.
• Run food to bar and server tables; assist servers as needed.
• Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
• Wipe and set tables and replace condiments or supplies.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes; carry dishes to kitchens for cleaning.
• Respond to guest requests during the shift.

We have over 30 corporate locations throughout NJ, PA, DE, VA, and FL with many more on the way. We also have franchised locations that have additional opportunities for training and support roles.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
• Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
• Wipe and set tables, replace condiments, or other supplies
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
• Running food as needed to both bar and server’s tables
• Assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
• Respond to any guest's requests during the shift

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
