Job summary

Turning Point Restaurants is hiring a friendly host/hostess for daytime shifts at our Bryn Mawr location. You will greet guests, seat them, manage the host stand, and help the team keep wait times short and customers happy.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced breakfast/brunch environment. This daytime role supports multiple locations in the region and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds as needed.
• Prior restaurant experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and rotation.
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat and presentable for guests.
• Wipe and reset tables and restock condiments as needed.
• Carry dishes to kitchens and assist servers to keep guests satisfied.

We have over 30 corporate locations throughout NJ, PA, DE, VA, and FL with many more on the way. We also have franchised locations that have additional opportunities for training and support roles.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
• Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
• Wipe and set tables, replace condiments, or other supplies
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
• Running food as needed to both bar and server’s tables
• Assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
• Respond to any guest's requests during the shift
