Kolter Hospitality is seeking a part-time Host at Hyatt Centric Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale to welcome guests with a courteous and efficient demeanor. You will guide guests from entry to seating, answer phones, and maintain knowledge of menus and specials to enhance the guest experience.

The role emphasizes flexibility for weekends/holidays, basic computer skills, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Equal opportunity employer with a drug-free workplace policy.

Formación

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate a computer.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and provide exceptional service to guests.
• Take guest reservations or put on waiting list, reflecting availability of the restaurant.
• Take guests to their seats and notify server.
• Answer phones in a courteous and timely manner.
• Possess knowledge of menus and applicable specials.
• Buss all tables removing soiled dishes after each course when requested by server.
• Assist food and beverage team members as situations arise.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests.
• Perform opening and closing procedures along with side work as assigned.
• Follow proper procedures regarding cash handling, following cash bank reconciliation and end of shift drop.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.

Job Location: Hyatt Centric Las Olas - Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel, Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Host delivers service excellence to our guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. This position is responsible for welcoming guests to the restaurant from the time they walk through the door until the time they depart.
