Job summary

Workstream in Bryant, AR is seeking a friendly restaurant host to greet guests, manage seating, and support front-of-house operations.

You will open/close the station, handle phone orders, and work with the Table Management system to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction. Strong teamwork, organization, and clear communication are essential, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the station on each shift, including setup/breakdown and maintenance of Hospitality Desk and front entrance area.
• Demonstrate appropriate greeting and seating techniques.
• Use Table Manager techniques to maintain accurate seating and dining room quote times.
• Answer phone and take call-in orders.
• Maintain continuous restroom checks.
• Notify the manager of delays, guest needs, or complaints.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

Hosts are responsible for providing a first and last impression.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Perform station opening/closing duties on each shift, including set up/break down and continual maintenance of Hospitality Desk and front entrance area.
• Demonstrate appropriate greeting and seating techniques.
• Use appropriate Table Manager techniques to maintain accurate and even seating and dining room quote times.
• Answer phone and take call-in orders
• Maintain continuous restroom checks.
• Notify the manager of any quotes that have exceeded the time quoted, special guest needs or requests, large party execution needs and guest complaints, no matter how small it may seem.
• Ensure compliance with all Company policies and laws, including health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management staff.
