Position Summary

As the Host, you're the first person guests see when they enter our doors! Hosts are responsible for greeting guests and making them feel welcome at Johnny Carino's. They may also assist with To-Go orders.

• Greet all guests with a warm welcome upon arrival.
• Seat guests and accommodate special requests.
• Manage the wait list: record guest names and number in party, and provide estimated waiting times.
• Provide an exceptional To-Go experience: take phone and walk-in orders, ring in orders in the Point of Sale system, package items, cash out guests, and ensure orders are on-time and accurate.
• Answer phones and manage the reservation system.
• Inspect tables for presentation and completeness.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• No experience necessary; restaurant experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to eight (8) hours.
