Job summary

AAA Parking in St. Louis Union Station is seeking a hands-on Leader to run daily valet operations and guest service, guiding a team to deliver prompt, courteous experiences.

You’ll oversee parking procedures, ticketing accuracy, and vehicle handling while upholding AAA Parking’s professional standards. Responsibilities include coordinating shifts with hotel partners, training staff, and maintaining safety and security throughout the valet stand and drive lanes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Previous valet, parking operations, or hospitality supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmission.
• Strong guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example, delegate duties, and coach valet team members.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain shift records and use valet/parking systems.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift guest luggage; maintain professional appearance.
• Reinforce safety procedures and follow cash-handling and incident-reporting procedures.
• Ability to pass required background and driving-record checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the valet team in providing prompt, courteous service to arriving and departing guests.
• Address guest questions and service concerns professionally, escalating unresolved matters to management.
• Monitor vehicle retrieval times, guest queues, and service delivery for smooth operations.
• Ensure team communicates parking procedures, rates, and hotel information accurately.
• Coordinate guest assistance and keep routes and loading areas accessible.
• Greet guests and assist with luggage and valet during peak periods.
• Verify valet ticketing and vehicle location records; supervise vehicle movement.
• Direct parking and retrieval activities and ensure safe traffic flow.
• Review shift tickets, parking transactions, and cash-handling records; report discrepancies.
• Lead by example and reinforce AAA Parking’s standards of appearance and service.
• Coordinate with hotel front desk, bell services, security, and management; report staffing needs.
• Reinforce safety procedures and protect guest vehicles and keys.
