Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, headquartered in Milwaukee, seeks a Vice President of Information Technology to define and execute a modern technology roadmap that enhances guest experience, associate productivity, and enterprise scalability. You will partner with senior leadership to drive AI-enabled growth, risk management, and transformation across 18 hotels nationwide.

The role reports to the Division President and requires executive presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• 10+ years leading technology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology, business, or equivalent executive experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps, investment priorities, operating models, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of hospitality technology platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex portfolios, capital and operating budgets and executive communications.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with division priorities and enterprise standards.
• Serve as strategic partner to senior leadership on technology investments, operating model improvements, guest-facing innovation, and enterprise risk.
• Drive digital capabilities that improve the end-to-end guest journey.
• Modernize the hospitality technology ecosystem (PMS, POS, CRM, infrastructure, back-office).
• Collaborate with data/AI enablement for improved decision-making and forecasting.
• Advance responsible adoption of AI, automation, and cloud platforms.
• Oversee security governance, PCI, SOX, and business continuity readiness.
• Build and lead a high-performing technology organization and manage vendor strategy.
