Job summary

Convive Brands’ Le Pain Quotidien location in California is hiring crew members to deliver warm hospitality and great guest experiences. You’ll join a team that values community, service, and pride in workmanship, with opportunities to grow within a family of restaurant concepts.

As a team member, you will handle drinks, pastry displays, guest interactions, cash handling, and daily side-work, with training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, Toast preferred.
• Flexible schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Able to work across dining room and retail space.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences provided by the guest.
• Prepare all drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Properly bag, box, and arrange to‑go food and pastry.
• Perform sales transactions in accordance with cash handling policy.
• Maintain and consolidate pastry display throughout the day.
• Maintain full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when needed.
• Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklist and side work.
• Keep all areas clean and organized by following cleaning checklists.
• Answer the phone with proper etiquette; take orders over the phone.
