Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Greenwich, CT is seeking friendly hospitality team members to deliver attentive, guest-focused service in a warm, welcoming setting. Responsibilities include taking orders, entering them into Toast POS, coordinating with the kitchen, and staying knowledgeable about our pastry, bread, beverages, and retail items.

Cross-training across dining room and retail space is encouraged. Health coverage enrollment, accrued PTO, 401(k) with up to 4% match after 90 days, pre-tax commuter

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to cross-train in all areas of dining room and retail space preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter order correctly into the POS, and follow up with the kitchen as necessary
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences provided by the guest
• Maintain full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items
• Prepare drinks for the dining room, as needed
