Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien, part of Convive Brands, seeks team members to deliver warm hospitality in a busy Greenwich location. You will take orders, manage the POS, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast.
• Schedule flexibility is highly preferred.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of dining room and retail space.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their visit.
• Receive orders, enter into POS, and follow up with kitchen as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager as necessary.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; follow daily checklists.
