Job summary

MCR is seeking a friendly Server at Hilton Garden Inn West Monroe to provide prompt, accurate food service and guest interactions. You will take orders, serve items, and handle payments while maintaining a welcoming, clean dining area and strong hotel knowledge.

You will greet guests by name, ensure proper presentation, and support events and group functions. A positive attitude and flexible schedule are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Must provide friendly service with a smile to guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and describe food and beverage options.
• Deliver hot, order-ready items from kitchen to tables.
• Input orders and process payments accurately at the POS.
• Prepare coffee and specialty drinks as needed.
• Set and reset tables, ensuring dining areas are clean and inviting.
• Observe guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Complete daily inventory prep and other side work per labor rules.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu items and hotel amenities.
