Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn West Monroe in West Monroe, Louisiana, is seeking a dedicated Houseperson to support housekeeping operations and guest service. You will assist with luggage storage, clean hallways and public spaces, stock guest rooms, and help maintain a safe, organized environment throughout the hotel.

Ideal candidates are 18 years or older, capable of varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and committed to following established guidelines with a strong guest-service

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service or consumer-facing settings preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to understand and follow established guidelines.
• Ability to work well under stress and manage pace.
• Active listening and conflict resolution skills.
• Clear communication with guests and team members.
• Desire to serve guests and provide great hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Luggage handling: store and retrieve luggage for guests.
• Cleaning and trash management: clean corridors, service areas, public spaces and collect trash.
• Furniture upkeep: monitor and report issues with public space furniture.
• Restocking: maintain linens, amenities, and supplies in guest rooms and carts.
