Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Berkeley is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to join our team. SHG is dedicated to hospitality, respect, authenticity and a positive impact on guests and colleagues.

As a Server you will seat guests, take orders, ensure timely delivery, handle payments, and uphold state and company liquor policies. We offer daily pay, health options, 401k, PTO and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education; post-high school education preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role.

Responsibilities

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests.
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring meals are delivered to the correct recipients and presented well.
• Checks station before, during and after shift for setup and cleanliness.
• Abide by liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Must be familiar with all menu items and service procedures.
• Totals checks, presents to guests and accepts payment.
• Assists with bussing tables.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
