Job summary

Hyatt Regency Miami is seeking a Food Server Assistant to support our dining team. You will assist food servers, help with breakfast, lunch and/or dinner service, and ensure steps of service are followed in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires good communication, physical ability to lift and move moderate weight, and a team-oriented attitude. Prior server experience is favored; AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work AM or PM shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Previous experience as a Server Assistant is preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to a moderate weight.
• Must possess refined communication skills.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb.
• A team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests and visitors with breakfast, lunch and/or dinner based on Forbes Service Standards.
• Clear, clean and reset all the dining tables and chairs.
• Serve beverages, drinks and snacks to visitors and guests.
• Coordinate with other servers in ensuring proper services to guests and customers.
• Ensure Hyatt’s steps of service are followed.
