Job summary

Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando, FL is seeking a detail‑oriented Sales Support Specialist to back the sales team with administrative tasks, lead qualification, and interdepartmental coordination. You will help deliver distinct guest experiences and nurture client relationships.

You will work onsite, support proposals and contracts, produce timely reports, and assist with site tours and client communications for catering and sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hotel operations or sales experience preferred.
• Maintain a professional, positive demeanor.
• Proficient with computers in a Windows environment.
• Ability to learn and master Delphi (CRM), HMS (PMS), and other assigned applications.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines set by clients, leadership, and the sales team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales and customer service acumen.
• Effective team player with collaborative instincts.
• Capable of setting and managing priorities across multiple demands and properties.
• Flexible and responsive in a demanding but rewarding business environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent English communication required (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with administrative tasks and facilitate communication between departments.
• Qualify leads for sales or catering managers and coordinate follow-ups.
• Produce proposals and draft contracts; handle written confirmations to clients.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management.
• Conduct engaging property site tours highlighting features and benefits for clients.
• Maintain knowledge of Lake Nona Hotels portfolio to identify client needs.
• Collaborate with team members to relay client feedback to staff and leadership.
• Answer phones and greet guests professionally, representing the brand.
• Assist with scheduling and prioritizing multiple client deadlines.
• Support continued effort to deliver distinct guest experiences and nurture relationships.
