Job summary

Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando, FL is seeking a detail‑oriented Sales Support Specialist to back the sales team with administrative tasks, lead qualification, and interdepartmental coordination. You will help deliver distinct guest experiences and nurture client relationships.

You will work onsite, support proposals and contracts, produce timely reports, and assist with site tours and client communications for catering and sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hotel operations or sales experience preferred.
• Maintain a professional, positive demeanor.
• Proficient with computers in a Windows environment.
• Ability to learn and master Delphi (CRM), HMS (PMS), and other assigned applications.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines set by clients, leadership, and the sales team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales and customer service acumen.
• Effective team player with collaborative instincts.
• Capable of setting and managing priorities across multiple demands and properties.
• Flexible and responsive in a demanding but rewarding business environment.

• Fluent English communication required (verbal and written).

Job Overview:

You will work in a team-oriented environment and fully support and provide assistance to the sales team with administrative tasks, facilitating communication between departments, provide engaging customer service, and receive and qualify leads for sales or catering managers. You will also support the continuing effort to deliver distinctively different guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging property site tours that highlight the property features and benefits tailored to the clients’ individual needs.
• Maintain working knowledge of the broader Lake Nona Hotels portfolio to help identify the needs of the client.

Working Environment / Physical Demands

The physical demands described here represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for 6-8 hours per day.
