Job summary

Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino is seeking a Receiving Clerk to verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment to the proper departments. The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and readiness to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment on site.

A high school diploma or GED is required. Weekly duties include determining shipment methods, labeling, and maintaining inventory of shipping materials while upholding resort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in shipping/receiving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Determines appropriate method of shipment.
• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Routes items to appropriate departments.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials.
• Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work areas.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
