Job summary

The Courtyard Pittsburgh North is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott standards. You will inspect vacated and stay-over rooms, mentor team members, and uphold brand quality.

This role requires at least 1 year hotel housekeeping experience, keen attention to detail, strong communication, physical stamina, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hotel housekeeping experience
• Attention to detail essential
• Strong communication; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, push and lift up to 25 pounds
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Room & Area Inspections: Thoroughly inspect vacated and stay-over guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces to ensure pristine cleanliness and readiness.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce standards; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or missing amenities immediately.
• Team Support & Mentoring: Provide feedback and guidance to Housekeepers to improve efficiency and techniques.
• Inventory & Supplies: Monitor cart organization, linen supplies, and cleaning chemicals; report shortages to management.
• Lost and Found: Log, secure, and manage guest items per hotel policy.
• Guest Satisfaction: Resolve guest cleanliness complaints promptly to ensure an exceptional stay.
