Hilton Garden Inn Detroit/Novi is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee account management and ensure revenue goals are met. This role requires a proven sales track record, preferably in hospitality, along with the ability to train and support associates.

The successful candidate will maximize revenue through various sales techniques, manage key accounts, and develop strong client relationships. A degree in Hospitality is preferred, along with a willingness to travel locally to promote the hotel.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales required, hospitality experience preferred.
• Travel requirement of 50% or more.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, and support associates.
• Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel.
• Negotiate the best terms and conditions to satisfy client needs.
• Manage accounts and document solicitation and closing.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts to boost revenue.
• Conduct persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Travel locally for outside calls and to promote the hotel.
