Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is seeking a Hospitality Shift Manager to oversee all Food & Beverage and Facilities/EVS operations, ensuring staffing, budget adherence and service standards across multiple units. You will lead, train, and evaluate teams while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety protocols.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cost controls, and collaboration with management to maximize guest satisfaction in a dynamic casino environment.

• Must possess ability to instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in subordinate employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all Food & Beverage operations and Facilities/EVS, Kitchen and Stewarding functions.
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, filling, personnel maintenance and HR issues.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and work schedules to provide a high level of service with minimum labor hours.
• Evaluate staff performance on a ninety (90) day and annual basis.
• Conduct regular cover count, check average, food and beverage costs and projection analysis to maximize profitability.
• Responsible for the implementation of the Food and Beverage and Facilities/EVS Policies and Procedures.
• Must be able to operate and run multi-unit operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, recognition, coaching, terminations and other personnel related issues.
• Communicate regularly with the Food & Beverage Management team and keep them informed on all casino and Food and Beverage activities and events.
