Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Operations Manager for The Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront North on 37th Street. This leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing hotel profitability through strategic planning and team development.

You will lead, train and coach operations staff, collaborate with other departments, monitor service standards, and ensure daily operations run smoothly from arrival to departure.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED; 5 years’ work-equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Computer skills required; MS Office familiarity; hotel information systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies to exceed guest satisfaction and revenues.
• Lead operations staff and supervise department execution with training.
• Monitor budgets/payroll and ensure expenditures align with the budget.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints regarding service and accommodations.
• Coordinate with department supervisors to develop staff professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, and promotions.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and prepare financial forecasts.
