Job summary

Styer Hospitality Co. seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our growing short- and mid-term rental portfolio in Columbus, Ohio.

You will supervise cleaners, maintenance techs, inspectors, and guest service agents, coordinating with vendors and managing scheduling, payments, and quality of work. The role requires initiative, urgency, and accountable leadership, with a focus on scalable systems and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily short- and mid-term rental operations to ensure properties are guest-ready.
• Supervise cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and guest service teams.
• Set performance expectations and hold staff accountable to standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, shift coverage, workflow, and escalations.
• Coordinate property turnovers, inspections, maintenance, and readiness.
• Ensure guest check-ins have completed inspections and proper documentation.
• Utilize Breezeway, Asana, Notion and other systems for tasks and workflows.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for scheduling, approvals and payments.
• Lead new property onboarding, including vendor coordination and owner invoicing.
• Monitor guest communication and feedback to improve service quality.
• Prepare monthly reports on staff time, purchases and supplies.
