Job summary

Levy Sector at the Baltimore Convention Center seeks a General Manager to balance floor supervision, administration, and coaching while hosting groups. You will drive guest experiences and uphold The Levy Difference in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will lead banquet operations, ensure service quality, safety, and compliance, and mentor managers across the venue. A strong background in hospitality leadership and financial acumen is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or event operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and cost-control knowledge.
• Proficiency with business and operational technology systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet and event operations, ensuring efficient setup, service, and breakdown.
• Maintain high standards for guest service, food quality, safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, guests, team members, and venue partners.
• Manage labor, inventory, budgets, scheduling, forecasting, and operational reporting.
• Ensure proper use of company systems and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and team members.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on accountability and performance.
