Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Operations Intern for Summer 2027 in Las Vegas. This onsite internship offers exposure to multiple hotel departments and hands-on experience in hospitality operations starting in June.

You'll develop professional communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills while supporting daily hotel activities in a fast-paced environment. University students pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Business, or related fields are encouraged to apply for this paid internship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and guests in a courteous and service oriented manner.
• Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Maximize productivity and assist in identifying and solving problems.
• Understand and apply complex information from various sources to meet objectives.
• Cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Show initiative and anticipate guest or operational needs.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
