Job summary

Kasa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to own on-site operations at STILE DTLA, reporting to the Chief Engineer. You will be the on-site face for the property, handling mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and guest-facing tasks while working with the Property Operations and Guest Experience teams.

The role requires 2+ years of hotel and guest service experience, HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certifications, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a hotel engineer is preferred or comparable maintenance experience at a hotel, apartment complex, or office building.
Enjoys mobile technology and is eager to learn new systems and platforms to improve performance.
Flexible schedule and availability for emergencies as they arise.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to multi-task and complete tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment, systems, and building components including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, doors, and furnishings.
Perform painting tasks and install/replace lighting fixtures as needed.
Inspect machinery, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs with supervisors.
Ensure structural integrity and participate in scheduled trainings and meetings.
Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor on project progress and respond to guest requests promptly.
