Job summary

Kasa Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the STILE DTLA property. You will oversee on-the-ground operations, work closely with the Property Operations and Guest Experience teams, and serve as the face of Kasa on site.

The role requires physical work, problem solving, and a proactive service mindset. You will report to the Chief Engineer and adapt to a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Comfortable lifting 25–50 lbs and staying on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all hotel equipment, systems, and building components (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Perform inspections, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs with supervisors or peers.
• Install and replace lighting, fixtures, and furniture as needed.
• Communicate project updates to Maintenance Supervisor and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
