Job summary

Olympia Hospitality seeks a dedicated maintenance professional to service our hotel properties. You will perform preventive maintenance on building systems, diagnose issues, and respond to repair requests to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

The role requires basic carpentry and electrical/mechanical repair skills, with focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork; experience in hospitality maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade.
• Trade-related education or certificate is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks.
• Conduct inspections of fire alarms, emergency lighting, elevators, and generators.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and equipment performance.
• Handle emergencies to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors for repairs.
• Perform general repairs to guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Assist with renovations and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are met.
