Fairfield Inn & Suites Deerfield Beach is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure a warm, welcoming environment for guests by keeping rooms, public spaces, and pool area in pristine condition. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, preventive maintenance, and a team-driven approach to problem solving.

The candidate will handle repairs, safety compliance, and routine upkeep while maintaining open communication with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Friendly, cheerful demeanor at all times.
• Respond to guests' repair requests and communicate to resolve issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest areas and rooms.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safety and functionality.
• Maintain pool and pool equipment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Respond and attend to guests repair requests.
• Communicate with guest/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces including mattresses inspection and bed frame work.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machines.
• Display strong mechanical ability and basic knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Repair grout and caulking; paint and surface prep as needed.
• Maintain pool chemicals and equipment; troubleshoot and repair basic issues.
