Schulte Hospitality Group in Tampa is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to oversee hotel grounds, public areas and guest rooms, performing preventive maintenance and responding to work orders. HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge are essential, with 2 years of hotel maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a hotel maintenance position.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
