Job summary

Paws Up Montana is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to oversee resort-wide training and development initiatives in Greenough, MT. The role coordinates onboarding and department-specific programs, develops learning resources, and supports supervisors with coaching and performance improvement.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in hospitality or L&D, strong instructional design skills, and hands-on LMS experience (Absorb, Cornerstone, Articulate 360).

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality operations or learning & development in guest-facing environments.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Experience coaching and training trainers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, deliver, and document onboarding and training programs.
• Coach department supervisors on demonstration, feedback, and proficiency verification.
• Create, update, and maintain practical learning resources, SOPs, and guides.
• Observe training, conduct audits, and improve learning effectiveness.
• Support Train-the-Trainer practices and LMS/HRIS administration.
