Job summary

Kohler Co. invites applications for a Lodging Intern in Riverbend. This onsite program offers exposure to the Hospitality department, training across functional roles, and the chance to develop team management skills.

The internship runs for a minimum of 12 weeks with start by May 18, 2027 and end no earlier than August 7, 2027, with shifts from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, weekdays and weekends. Interns will train in multiple roles, learn financial aspects where assigned, and complete a final project

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior level student in a four year college program.
• Emphasis of study must be hospitality, resort, or spa management.
• Strong academic performance with a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating daily activities.
• Interviewing front line staff as needed.
• Leading daily communications within the department.
• Building member relations and problem solving.
• Serving as Manager on Duty when required.
• Participating in customer service across roles.
• Interacting with Kohler H&RE Group executives.
• Learning performance management and evaluations.
• Gain proficiency in Touch, Springer Miller, Microsoft Office, Kohler Intranet, Infogenesis, Timesaver, Workplace Ordering System, and Inventory Management.
• Complete a final internship project and presentation for the Executive Management Team.
