Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain cleanliness and care of hotel linen and terry for guest rooms and F&B outlets.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and stock linens, coordinating with Housekeeping and staff. The role requires teamwork, basic English, and the ability to handle heavy laundry while following safety policies and guest needs promptly.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Some related experience or training preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled linens from laundry chutes and carts.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold dirty linen and terry and store clean linen.
• Coordinate and distribute cleaned linen for housekeeping and F/B staff.
• Operate laundry equipment (Washer, Dryer, Flat Iron, Ironing board).
• Stock all cleaned linen and terry in appropriate areas.
• Maintain daily inventories of linen and terry to meet needs.
