Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure cleanliness and care of hotel linens and terry. You will coordinate with Housekeeping to maintain linen pars on guest floors and assist with F&B linen for full-service properties.

Essential duties include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linen, operating laundry equipment, and keeping areas clean. Must communicate in English and be able to work flexible shifts in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Able to read, write and speak basic English.
• Willing to work flexible shifts in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled linens from chutes and carts.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold linen and store clean items.
• Distribute clean linen to Housekeeping and F&B staff.
• Operate washers, dryers, irons and related equipment.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of laundry areas.
• Follow safety rules and handle cleaning chemicals properly.
