Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and care of hotel guest room linen and terry. Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen for housekeeping and F/B staff, while coordinating inventory and supporting F&B as needed.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, the ability to read and follow simple instructions, and the flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand, read, write and speak basic English.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled linens from laundry chutes and carts.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold dirty linen and terry; store clean linen.
• Coordinate distribution of linen for housekeeping and F/B staff.
• Operate laundry equipment (washer, dryer, irons) and maintain machines.
• Stock cleaned linen in appropriate areas and keep inventories.
• Keep department clean and organized; mop floors as needed.
