Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance, support, and guidance to hotel and casino staff using computers and peripherals. You will troubleshoot issues, gather data on staff needs, and interpret requirements to help shape system and network solutions.

This role collaborates with the Network Administrator on upgrades, performs hardware installations and routine maintenance, and helps train users in new software and hardware.

Qualifications

Provides technical assistance to staff using computers and peripherals.
Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs hardware and software issues for users.
Gathers data to identify staff needs and inform system requirements.

Responsibilities

Must adhere to Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
Receive, configure, install and support computer hardware and peripherals in a networked environment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair hardware and software issues for users in their workspace.
Assist the Network Administrator and other IT staff in the roll‑out of network, operating system and software upgrades and patches.
Use common tools, diagnostic software and tools to perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computers, peripherals and network hardware and appliances.
Perform other departmental duties as may be required by Management.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hazard free work environment.
