Gensler is seeking an Interior Designer in Washington, DC to lead hospitality-focused interiors from concept through construction. You will combine visionary thinking with technical delivery, developing FF&E, finish plans, lighting and millwork details while guiding a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes design excellence, sustainability, client relationships, and mentoring teammates in a dynamic office environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required.
• 6–10 years interior design experience, with 4+ years in Hospitality projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills; ability to convey design intent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead visioning, space planning, schematic/design development and construction docs.
• Select furniture, fabrics, finishes, colors, and FF&E; document plans and specs.
• Coordinate with consultants, product reps, dealers and fabricators.
• Integrate new technologies (AR, VR, computational design) on projects.
• Support design presentations and nurture client relationships.
• Help with marketing, BD efforts, and team mentoring.
• QA/QC specifications and construction document sets.
• Elevate design quality across projects and foster design culture.
